Regina DeVal is first and foremost a Christian with an understanding that
'Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.' (James 1:17) .
She was blessed to find that thing late in life that gives her peace and life meaning... She is an artist.She believes that God blessed her with a new gift and whispered her artists name to her mother years before: Regina DeVal. Color, emotion, movement, life... With painting and photography, she captures it and makes it stand still for just a moment.
So Why Cloud Cover?
She says that this title came to her while studying for a class. She remembered that God moves in the clouds. The clouds are the mysterious things that traverse the earth above us evoking all kinds of emotions: Wonder and joy to sadness and mystery. This is my first blog post! I am so happy that you stopped by my website. I am excited for the future of art and my ability to have a small part in it. I love to paint, take photos and just create! I started painting in my 50s. I am so grateful to God to put this in my life at this time. I hope my paintings are encouraging, inspiring, humorous and evoke many other emotions!
